"Solid Run for Mullinax in ASA SAT Debut for 2009"

This was a special event for the JMR team at the Lanier National Speedway, the event was in memory of the late friend Matt Hawkins. Jeremy and the team had a struggle with the race car through most of the day but knew the car would be pretty good in race trim according to test results. Mullinax qualified the car in the 19th starting spot out of 34 entries, but when the green flag dropped Jeremy began to climb the latter slowly as the laps clicked by and at the end of the event found himself inside the top 10. "I wish we could have finshed a little better than what we did but considering the qualifying effort, this isn't a bad showing for us, Mullinax stated." Mike (Mike Garvey) and Mitch and all those guys really worked hard to get the car to last in a long green flag run and they were successful with that so we are really happy with our performance."
